Skills I Want To Improve
As an actor, I always wanting to improve myself and my acting range so I would definitely love to be apart of more shows and films and play more diverse characters to widen my acting range. I love challenging myself and always looking for new roles to play.

After Directing both LIMPY and One Last Shot I am confident in my Directing skills however I still want to improve. There is always ways to get better and I think I'd like to write and Direct more short films in the future. I've got ideas for new projects as well as sequels that I'd love to make at some point in the future. Although I still want to be an actor, because I love acting, I do think my goals have turned more towards a Directing pathway. Besides as Director of my own work I can cast myself in roles so I will still have the opportunity to act if I wanted.

Choreography is something I'd also like another chance at. I am proud of the fight choreography that was done in One Last Shot and that I choreographed every fight myself, however I feel like in future I would like to bring someone on with more experience than myself to improve the choreography. Or at least I would like to learn more fight choreography techniques to implement into future choreography to improve them.

Additionally I would like to get better at my Cinematography. In LIMPY I really got the opportunity to experiment with interesting camera angles and tricks to tell the story because I had written it to be a mostly silent movie with the visuals telling the story. And because of the small cast I had time to experiment with camera movements. I really enjoy dynamic camera movements and revealing things to the audience by moving the camera around slowly. However with One Last Shot we didn't have the time to explore the camera positions due to time restraints and the large cast so the camera angles are very generic. So in future I'd like to explore different interesting ways to place or move the camera throughout a film to tell a more visually interesting story.

I would love the opportunity to try special effect in video editing. If I can learn how to do digital special effects then i can create more visually interesting stories. However I don't own or can afford the software to use special effects currently so I'd have to wait a few years before I can learn this particular skill, but it is something I'm interested in learning.

What I Would Like To Do In Future Roles
My Goals For The Future
I think every actors wanted to be on a real life film and Tv set. You watch those movies and it motivates you to want to be a part of it. And then discovering the behind the scenes and that those heroes on screen are just regular people and that you can be one of them is inspiring to say the least. I would love to be part of a TV show, maybe like a detective drama or even a comedy show like F.R.I.E.N.D.S would be fantastic. Then perhaps some day I would like to movie on to a theatrical movie however I don't feel like I'd have the confidence to do that straight out of college. I would like some more experience before I do that. I have a passion for behind the scenes and watching how the magic of filmmaking comes to life, but to be apart of it would be even greater.

An action film would be something I would want to be involved in as I would like a chance at doing some fight scene choreography. However I would need practice and knowledge in how to stunt fall without injuring myself. The basic move you learn starting out with a fight is how to throw a realistic punch and how to get knocked down without seriously harming yourself. So I would like to learn that because when it comes to acting I like to do as much as the stunts myself. I want to be the character as much as possible so If the character is brave enough to jump off a building then I would like to be the one in the harness jumping of a building. Obviously it takes years of training to get to that point but it's a skill I would like to have.

I have found a new passion in filmmaking through Directing and after creating One Last Shot I quickly went on to writing scripts to make it a trilogy. I would love to make these two sequels to my student films however the budget for them would be much greater so I would need a job before I can move on to it. But this is something I plan to do and am very much passionate about.

So in order to get one step closer to my goals I have joined a casting website called "BACKSTAGE" which mostly has student film castings on it and smaller projects however there are some big roles on there too as well as agent auditions. I would like to do some agent auditions and then from there gain some experience in smaller things in order to get my name out in the world. Add to my portfolio and get more experience, hopefully paid experience, so then this will be the first steps in getting ever so closer to my goal of movie filming. Additionally to get closer to my goal of filmmaking, I have created a YouTube Channel were I can post all the student short films I create as well as other ridiculous videos in order to get a reputation as an actor and Director. It also allows me to expand my Portfolio without having to spend months look for jobs on casting websites when I can create them myself.
My YouTube Channel
I started my YouTube channel as a way for me to have fun, but it was only during college that I realised that I could use it to express my creative passions. I plan on using YouTube as a resource to upload video projects that I create and Direct and all other content is just to improve my editing skills and a little fun.
